Arriverà in Italia il 9 settembre “El Pintor”, il nuovo album degli INTERPOL registrato agli Electric Lady Studios and Atomic Sound a New York,  mixato da Alan Moulder e masterizzato da Greg Calbi. Nella formazione attuale Paul Banks (voce, chitarra) questa volta anche bassista, Daniel Kessler (chitarra), Samuel Fogarino (batteria).

Numerose le collaborazioni del nuovo album : Brandon Curtis (The Secret Machines) alle tastiere in nove canzoni, Roger Joseph Manning, Jr. (Beck) alle tastiera in “Tidal Wave” e Rob Moose (Bon Iver) alla viola e al violino in “Twice as Hard”.
