Gratis ai RIOT FESTIVAL
Anche quest’anno immancabili gli appuntamenti del Riot Fest a Denver (dal 2 al 4 Settembre) e a Chicago (dal 16 al 18 Settembre), festival noto per l’eterogeneità degli artisti che si esibiscono sul palco e per la bizzarria di alcune sue attrazioni davvero originali come gare di lucha libre (una sorta di wrestling messicano), battaglie di palle di neve, sculture di burro e diverse giostre.
Proprio quest’anno ci saranno diverse reunion (Original Misfits, Thursday, Set Your Goals, Wolf Parade e the Anniversary) e un’esibizione speciale dei Girls Against Boys; I Social Distortion suoneranno in esclusiva il loro White Light, Withe Heat, White Trash proprio nel ventesimo anniversario dell’uscita dell’album, mentre i Jane’s Addiction eseguiranno l’intero Ritual De Lo Habitual; Rob Zombie, alla sua prima esibizione al Riot Fest, si cimenterà in un’inaspettata versione di Astro-Creep.
Le line up sono ricchissime ed estremamente varie, da Morrisey ai Death Cab For Cutie, dai Deftones ai Dandy Warhols, solo per citare alcuni degli artisti presenti al festival.
