Uscirà solo il 3 ottobre V For Vaselines ma è già ascoltabille il nuovo singolo One Lost Year estratto dal prossimo album dei VASELINES autoprodotto e registrato nella nativa Glasgow nei Mogwai’s Castle Of Doom studio dall’ingegnere del suono Tony Doogan (Belle & Sebastian, Mogwai).

Al disco hanno collaborato parecchi illustri ospiti come: Michael McGaughrin (1990s), Frank Macdonald (Teenage Fanclub), Stevie Jackson (Belle & Sebastian), Graeme Smillie (Olympic Swimmers), Paul Foley (Mandrake Shepherd) e Scott Patterson (Sons & Daughters). L’album sarà disponibile nei formati: CD, download e cassetta in edizione limitata. V For Vaselines è il terzo album della formazione nata nel 1987 a Glasgow. Il loro album di debutto Dum Dum era uscito per la mitica label scozzese 53rd & 3rd nel giugno del 1989.
