La famiglia si è riunita. Kevin Drew è riuscito a rimettere insieme i Broken Social Scene. Ci sono voluti due anni di telefonate anche se poi l’evento che ha convinto tutti è stato l’attentato del 2015 al Bataclan: al mondo serviva un’iniezione di positività. Hug Of Thunder, appunto. Ben quindici membri della grande famiglia dei BBS si sono riuniti nel garage di Charles Spearin (Do Make Say Think) per provare nuove canzoni. Sono arrivate anche Feist, Amy Millan (Stars) e Emily Haines (Metric), le voci femminili che arricchiscono buona parte delle canzoni sul nuovo disco. E l’alchimia dei tempi di You Forgot it In People si è ricreata come per incanto…
